The surprising holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual confrontation pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where hints of banned practices and terrifying transformations echo through the shadows." The storyline features a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a clandestine group.

The mission centers on "strange tests and a fearsome enemy" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

The preview features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview concludes with a dramatic scene showing a character, likely the captive, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
