In addition to Cisse's six scores on his first game, Stephen Ireland has scored eight in 3 appearances for Wythenshawe, while George Boyd scored 5 on his debut match and Lescott, a defender by position, notched a triple in one match as a striker.

Wythenshawe are top of the Premier Division with three wins from three and a GD of plus nineteen.

Paul Barrow, 38, who features on the wing for the opposition, came up against former Latics defender Figueroa on the weekend - and had to tell his nine-year-old boy who Emile Heskey was.

"The news was going round like wildfire they had all these former top-flight stars," remarked the player.

"I think I was a little awestruck facing him to be honest.

"Also Heskey got on and he's has over 60 English appearances.

"We held our own for a solid twenty minutes but then we had a man sent off and it was tough.

"We literally haven't ceased talking about it - I was phoning my mum and sibling on the way home.

"The opponents were all really nice, shaking our hands after the match - it was like facing a bunch of normal guys.

"Now we are eager for the second fixture."
